Title: Beloved Dragon Mates

Author: Dominique Eastwick

Released:  June. 31, 2019

Ky the Searcher wants nothing more than to save his dying clan. Women are few and far between for the Dragons of Zambonia. With so few females born, it is now time to search for suitable mates amongst the covens of the planet. Ky and his ranger brothers have been dispersed to the four corners of the planet, tasked to find women both honorable and worthy to be dragons’ mates. But, at the first village, he finds a diamond in rough. His life mate.

The witches of Willow’s coven might be so beautiful they make a man forget his name, but below the exterior is little more than vanity and pettiness. Men come from far and wide to mate with the beauties. So why, when the Dragon Ky arrives, would he be any different? Why would he possibly see anything past the plain woman whose beauty burns on the inside? But the vulnerable within her coven rely on her. Can she take a step for what she wants and leave them at risk?

If Ky and Willow can get through a wall of opposition with a little help from a interfering otter familiar, they might find what they each thought never to have. True love.

The Storm is brewing.

“Gray building in the center of the village?” Ky asked, stepping into the night air.

Willow clung to him as he made his way through the courtyard. “How did you know?”

“Your scent is all over that structure. It nearly brought me to my knees when I walked past this afternoon.”

“My scent.”

“And now it will be all over this shirt again.” He shouldered the door to her workshop open and narrowed in on the clean work table, lowering Willow ever so gently to sit. He gripped the edge on either side of her. “When shall ye put me out of my misery?”

“When shall ye kiss me for real? There is no one in this village who can hold a candle to ye. No one else who makes me yearn to know them better.”

She bit her lip, but his attention shifted to the pulse at her neck beating far faster than it should have been. “Why me?” she finally managed.

Ky itched to touch her, kiss her. Hell, he wanted to love her. But nothing would happen until she gave him the okay. He needed her permission. He’d found her against all odds, and if she wasn’t ready to admit her feelings to herself, he would wait. Waiting was easy when you knew the reward would be so great. “Why not you?”

She made to say something but whatever it was he wouldn’t know because in the next moment she reached up, ran her fingers through his hair, and placed her lips on his. Nothing in his life had ever tasted so sweet. For the first time, he knew what he wanted above all else. Her. Willow’s lips parted and he took the opening, the opportunity to taste her. Their tongues mingled, danced, and he positioned himself between her legs to get closer. He wanted to feel her breasts pressed against his chest. To touch any part of her she would allow.

She pulled back, breathing heavily. “I need a minute.”

“Whatever ye need.” He brushed a stray lock of hair from her cheek. A small beam of moonlight illuminated her face, causing her eyes to sparkle like the bluest sapphires. “Yer so beautiful.”

“You mean that, don’t you?”

“Why would you doubt me? Because those in the hall have made you believe their ideals of beauty are everyone else’s? I promise you, my people find someone with your curves and natural beauty far more appealing and attractive than the artifice laid out within that hall.” He cupped her face and brushed the pad of his thumb over her swollen bottom lip. “I would never be sated in my need to taste you.”

“You overwhelm me, I’ve never had a man show any interest in me ever.”

“That was my first kiss.”

“Did it live up to your dreams?”

“More than you can imagine.” Tentative fingers touched the exposed skin at the neckline of his shirt.

“I can imagine a great deal.” He took a chance and pulled his shirt over his head, allowing her to explore more. If he played it wrong, they would be back at square one or worse. But she responded by placing her warm palms upon his pecs. “I have dreamed of nothing else but your touch since I meet you two days ago.”
